Jordan has attended Star Studio for about 6 years. Always on the dance side of what they offer. Last year, she started talking about tumbling. After about 7 months of her begging, Jerry & I thought, "ok, SHE MUST REALLY WANT TO DO THIS"!!

In February 2011 we signed her up for tumbling. (no more dance) In March she joined the Competition Team and attended her first meet. She is in a beginner level. (rolls, pikes, straddles) In July, she attended Jr Olympics in New Orleans with her Team and placed 4th. She went with an amazing family and Aunt Jayce was even able to be there for a few days.

Our 2012 season has been off to a great start. She has placed 1st at every meet in tumbling. She picked up trampoline 2 meets ago. She has placed 4th & 8th.

Jerry and I are so proud of her! She is shy one (as most know). Not everyone could get out on an open floor and perform in front of tons of people! ;)

I know nothing and I mean nothing about tumbling or trampoline so thank goodness for her awesome coaches!!!!! It amazes me how quickly she is learning. Can't wait to see where this fun takes her.

New Schedule!

After having Johnson, I took 12 weeks of maternity leave. I went back to work full time (Pacific-Cycle) and pouted almost daily. After a few months of "can we do it financially" talks.....I put in my notice! I was so happy! About a year later, a part time job honestly fell into my lap. I had such mixed feelings. I decided to take the job. It would allow me to get some adult time in, make a little extra cash and still be home most of the week. 2 years later, I am still there and love it. Our Johnson is no longer a little baby. He is 3 1/2. CRAZY!!!! He attends an awesome daycare. My new schedule starting next week will be 4 days a week. I will work - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I love the flexible hours that I have. Jordan even gets to come to work with me after school and she thinks it is so COOL!

Oh, I work for a company called Lincoln Farm Business.

It's a cooperative educational-service program designed to assist farmers with management decision-making. It provides help with business and family records. Computer assisted record processing options are available either on farm or at service centers. It provides financial and production business analysis reports.

I'm in the process of becoming catholic AND I am so excited about it! Jerry is catholic & attended St Joe grades K-6. We did not get married in a catholic church. During our engagement, we found out that we were pregnant. I always told myself that I wanted to become catholic.....10 long years later that's what I am doing. I feel so good when I attend church. As a family, we enjoy going to Mass on Saturday nights. We do that as much as we can. I also go on Sundays so I can attend RCIA class. We have a great class!

I started this process in September and will be done in May.

April will be exciting for myself and the kids. Us 3 will be baptized. Jerry & I have asked Jayce & Nathan to be God Parents for Jordan & Johnson. They live in Florida, but will be making the trip home for the special service at church Easter Weekend!

Another exciting thing is....I found out about a week ago that my cousin Tonya and her daughter Ashley are also joining a catholic church, just in another town!

My brother & his soon to be bride MaryJane, welcomed a sweet bundle of joy into the world in August 2011. Meet my niece Abigail Kim Schnautz!! They live in California so I have not met her yet, but I can say I LOVE HER SO MUCH! My brother is really good about sending lots of pics and the kids and I love sending her goodies in the mail!

Those two words get said a million times a day from me. Last time I blogged, I asked that everyone say a prayer for my mom. We did find out in December that she has breast cancer. She had surgery in December to have what doctors called a "lemon size tumor" removed from her left breast. They did test lymph nodes during this process and THANK GOD they came back clean. Her cancer is Stage 1 - Aggressive. She had colon cancer 7 years ago and beat it. She can do it again!! Chemo started last week and it hit her hard. It will last for 6 months, with her going once every 3 weeks. Breaks my heart. She is such a girl on the GO GO GO. She also had to get a steroid shot that really made her legs sore. This afternoon, Johnson & I took her to a doctor apointment to get a B12 shot. This shot was given in the "CHEMO ROOM". I had to walk out. My heart was so heavy for the patients that were sitting in there getting their treatment. I ask that you keep my mom in your prayers.

God is great & with my moms high faith and

I ask that you please say a prayer for my mom. About a month or so ago, she found a lump in her breast. On Friday her doctor took a biopsy. Waiting on the results are just about to do me in!! She is a tough lady and has been thru so much! Praying so hard that we get good news!

10 YEARS

Tomorrow, November 3rd, Jerry and I celebrate our 10 year anniversary! What a ride it's been. I love this man with all my heart. He has something planned for the weekend and I'm so excited. Usually we go out to eat and watch a movie. I'm shocked that he actually took the time to plan something and I have no idea what it is!!

He told me to pack a bag and that we would be gone for 2 days!

The baby of the family turns 3 today! That just sounds crazy to me! My kiddos are growing up so fast. Johnson keeps Jerry and I on our toes. The child really has no fear. He is talking so much. Loves to color (looks like he may be left handed...just like daddy).

Tomorrow we are having his Birthday Party at the lake with family and close friends!

Can't wait to celebrate.

New Schedule

I have been working part-time for awhile now and I really enjoy it. It's nice to get out of the house a few days a week and the extra spending money is nice too! ;)

Next week, I go from 2 days a week to 3 days a week. Honestly, I am really looking forward to it. My Johnson is not a baby anymore (he will be 3 in Sept). He is growing up too fast. He has a great daycare. Small Blessings. He is learning so much there. Jerry will be gone next week......I'm ready to see how the kiddos and I handle getting into a new routine. (we will miss a day of sleeping in)! hehe!

On another note, Jordan will be attending school at St Joe. WE ALL ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS! 4th grade here she comes.

PS - I hope to start blogging more. Sorry it's been so long!

1st Airplane Ride!

Over the weekend we took the kiddos out to the Olney-Noble airport for their fly-in. We were a little bummed because most of the planes had left because of the storm & rain. My friend Brandi came too with her kiddos. We had a great time and the breakfast was yummy!! Our buddy Keith is a pilot and had his plane out giving rides. Jordan has been flying with Keith about 7-8 times. Johnson took his 1st ride while we were there. Jerry said he loved it. Looked out the window the entire time.

Today I made a recipe out of a Relay for Life cookbook.

Cheeseburger n fries casserole.

It was quick, easy and the kiddos loved it.

2 lb ground beef

1 can golden mushroom soup

1 can cheddar cheese soup

1-20oz pkg crinkle cut fries

6-8 slices of American cheese

Pre-heat oven to 350

Brown beef and drain. Stir in soups. Pour in greased 9x13 baking dish. Cover with cheese slices. Arrange fries in a single layer on top. Bake, uncovered for 50-55 minutes.

Fun in the snow

Jordan & Johnson are having so much fun with all the snow. Today they spent the afternoon outside with daddy. They built a fort and rode the snowmobile. I'm so glad that Jerry has been in town so he can join in on all the fun. Tomorrow they are going to build a snowman.

I'm gonna just put it right out in the open - I DO NOT ENJOY COOKING! Wish I did, but I just don't. The Ginder menu is usually one of the following: chili, tacos, spaghetti, or eggs and toast. Like mentioned before one of my goals for the New Year is to cook more. WELL, let me tell you what happened over the weekend as I'm trying to keep my "cooking more" goal.

Saturday Jordan had a friend here. I was really wanting a fruit pizza, so I ran to IGA to pick up the goodies. The recipe I found called for sugar cookie dough. So as I'm bouncing around in the kitchen getting things ready while the cookie dough was cooking in the oven........the kitchen starts to smell like smoke. Jerry and Johnson came to the kitchen wondering what in the world I was doing. Just as the parents of Jordan's friend pull up in the drive, the smoke alarm starts going off!!! They walk in...my house stinks and we can't get the damn alarm to shut up!!! I was so embarrassed!!! What happened was....I had put the cookie dough on my pampered chef round stone. Guess it was not big enough because the dough was falling off the side of the stone and onto the bottom of my stove. All of this for a fruit pizza!
Today, we didn't get up until around 11. (Johnson is a night owl). I decided I would make some breakfast. Pancakes, hashbrowns & biscuits and gravy. Again, as I'm bouncing around in the kitchen making the pancakes...I wondered to myself "why in the world does my mix look like this?" It took me a minute and then it hit me! I was trying to mix 4 cups of pancake mix, rather than 2! After adding a little more milk they turned out to be very yummy! Boy I tell ya! This cooking stuff kicks my ass!

I am not one to really follow politics. I have however been watching the news since the shooting in Arizona. It broke my heart. Last night after the kiddos went to bed, Jerry and I started watching a little more of the news. Can you believe that protesters were actually going to show up at the funeral for the young 9 year old that was killed? I was just in shock. This poor family who lost their little girl in this hate crime from hell should not have to put of with this!!! Thank goodness today I heard that the church officials decided they would not protest at the funeral, but would do a radio show or something like that Saturday morning.

My heart goes out to all who have been affected by this horrible tragedy!

Snowmobile FUN!

This evening I got the kiddos all dressed warm and cozy and we went outside to play in the snow.

Johnson wasn't sure what to

think of it all, but after

watching sissy play in it, he started doing the same.

He did take a face first dive into the snow at one

point. That really ticked him off, but after some loving from momma, he got right back up and started playing again!

I could not help but post this picture!!

When Jerry got off work, he tried and tried and tried and tried to get the snowmobile started. He had no luck. Jordan was MAD!

So, guess where Jerry is now? He and our neighbor are out working on it.

So hopefully tomorrow they can get it out!

Baby Riley

Yesterday and today we had the pleasure of having baby girl Riley at our house. Her mommy is Jerry's cousin, Micah. Riley is so so so sweet. Johnson & Jordan both loved having her here.

Please say a prayer for Riley.

When she turns 6 months old, she will have surgery on her heart. Her heart has a hole in it and is on the opposite side of her little body.

Jerry had a doctor apt this week.

His last apt was 8 weeks ago.

He was hoping to get fully

released, but doctor told him to come

back in 6 months.

He is doing really well.

There are however, 2 things I notice he does a

little different now and they are

Saturday at the Ginder house

So far I am doing pretty good about my "cooking more" goal. I really don't enjoy cooking, but am working hard at making more meals at home. This morning, rather than ordering our usual from either The Holiday or Daylight, I made breakfast. Pancakes with apples & bananas. They were really yummy.

For lunch, it was pretty quick. I put some hotwings, fish sticks and fries in the oven. After lunch we told Jordan she needed to start on some homework. Johnson decided to get out a trashbag.

She stayed the night with Korbyn lastnight. Korbyn curled her hair. I heard they had a great time and even did a dance routine for Brandi & Dave!

Potty time

Jerry & I (well just me for the most part) decided that starting January 1st we would start talking to Johnson about the "potty". Johnson loves tractors & trains right now. I found a potty book from Discovery Toys that had a train theme to it. So far Johnson seems to really enjoy the book, however he seems much more interested in pulling all the toilet paper off the roll and saying "poop" when we go to the bathroom after reading the book.

Ya know it's a start. I'll take it.

After sleeping for most of the day, I woke up and thought I better find out what I missed. Found out that we are under a tornado watch. Crazy! It's December. Johnson and I are still feeling pretty crappy. Last night was the first night out of 3 that he did not run a fever. Jordan went with Aunt Jayce around 2 today. Jayce called a few minutes ago to let us know that Jordan is now running a fever. Jerry made out a list and hit CVS to pick up motrin, lysol wipes, lysol spray and 7 up.
Not the way we had planned on celebrating the New Year. Jerry & I had planned on eating at Gray's then coming home and heading to Effingham with the kiddos to stay the night, eat some yummy TGI Friday's tomorrow and do a little shopping at Kohls. Hubby says he is not bummed, but I can tell he is. ;) We try to do something like this each New Year's Eve. However, last year we did not because Jerry was out of town working and did not get home until late.

My brother and his girlfriend are home from California.

They will be here until January 2nd.

They rolled in around 3:30AM Christmas morning.

AW (short for Anthony Wayne) looks really tired. I didn't take many pictures at my moms and I'm not sure why. MJ (short for Mary Jane) was still sleeping, so that's why she is not in this picture and Johnson, well he was too busy dancing around to be in it.

Christmas Program

On the days that I work (Thursday's & Friday's) Johnson goes to Small Blessings. When I took the job, I was so so happy that they had a part time opening. Jordan also went to Small Blessings. She was just a tad over a year when she started attending, like Johnson. She still gets to go over the summer on the days that I work.

Any hoo....on December 21st, they had a program for all the kiddos. Johnson was a bear to get ready. Sometimes he likes to be in pictures and sometimes not. Before we left, he thought he was going to take some pictures of his own with Jordan's camera.

Baby John is home!

He was released from Riley's on Thursday.

He is no longer on oxygen, however he did come home with a feeding tube and a breathing monitor.

I ask that you say another prayer for he and his family.

After many, many tests and several days in the hospital doctors are still not sure what caused him to stop breathing.

We had the Ginder Christmas today.

Baby John and his momma stayed at home.

He can not be around anyone that has not had the flu shot.

Us Ginder's are sending them lots of loves and kisses!

I love the fact that Jordan is almost 9 and she still believes in Santa! Johnson seems to be interested in Santa too. He loves the lights at the park, we honestly go 3-4 times a week and he walks around the house saying HO HO HO!! This morning I caught Jordan taking Johnson by the hand and heard her say "Let's try to find some gifts"!! CUTE!! Most of my wrapping is done, however we don't have any gifts under the tree. We don't wrap our Santa gifts. Gifts at our house go under the tree Christmas Eve.

Also, my brother & his girlfriend will be home on Christmas Eve. I can't wait to see them. It's been way too long. This makes my mom sooooo happy. She is on cloud nine!

Asking for a prayer

Please say a prayer for baby John Ginder. On the day he was brought home from the hosptial, he stopped breathing and was taking to RMH. He spent several days there in ICU before he was taken to Riley's in Indy. He currently is on a feeding tube and was to have surgery this morning to remove the flap in the back of his mouth or to reduce the size of it, however I was told this afternoon that nothing was done to the flap. Doctors said it appeared to be fine. Along with the feeding tube, he is getting oxygen, due to his levels dropping. From what I understand he will be having more xrays, blood work and another sleep study test. Stephanie is at Riley's with John. Jason is home in Olney taking care of big sister Josie who has a cold\flu\fever.

Holidays are meant to be spent with family and for all to be healthy. Jerry, myself and the kiddos pray every night for GOD to heal baby John so everyone can get back home so they can enjoy being a family of four.

Tonight I'm sitting at the computer thinking about my cousin Savannah & her groom to be Blake. They were to get married tomorrow, Nov 20th.

Early in the week they decided to move

the wedding to a later date because of Savannah's health.

I'm sending prayers to them tonight hoping she gets all better quickly so they can enjoy the day they both deserve so much!

Was a busy one for us. Good times all weekend long.

Friday night we took the kids to the parade and met some friends there. After the parade we brought Johnson home to stay with my parents while we took Jordan and her friend Madison to the Trail of Terror north of Noble. Stacey, Brandi, Dave and their kids came too. It was so much fun. Great job goes out to Jody and Kerry Brown for putting it on and to everyone else that makes it happen. We will definitely do it again next year.
Saturday I had a bridal shower to attend for my cousin Savannah. She is getting married November 20th. Can't wait, it will be fun.
Sunday we went to Carsyn's 3rd Birthday Party. It was at Star Studio. Jordan and Johnson love that place. During the party while everyone was still playing, Johnson decided he was going to unwrap a gift for Carsyn. He opened up a tractor set. Johnson LOVES tractors. ;)
My kiddos did not go Trick or Treating this year. Johnson had no desire to put on his puppy dog costume and was actually taking a nap shortly before it was time to take off. Jordan decided she wanted to stay home and pass out candy, so that's what we did and oh my goodness...it was so much fun. We woke Johnson up so he could help. He would just run in circles and scream when someone would come to the door.

On Thursday, October 29th Jerry was able to get the cast off his left hand and the pins\screws and rod off his right hand. He was so happy. 6 weeks of limited hand use was a challenge. I had to leave the room while they took the pins\screws and rod out. My stomach couldn't take it. He is doing really well. In fact he went back to work today.

Light duty for 2 weeks, then another doctor apt to see how he is coming along.

Today, Jordan went to Evansville with her buddy Taylor for her birthday party. Taylor had her party at the mall in Evansville. There is a "boutique" in there where the girls can go and pick from a few different dress up themes. I don't know all the details, but I do know that these girls had a blast.

They decided on the "rock girl" theme.

As you can see their hair is all done along with make-up and nails.

Today is Johnson's Birthday.

I work on Thursday and Friday's so we get up a little earlier on these days so we can get around.

This is the picture of him I took this morning while Jerry and I were singing Happy Birthday to him. After I took the picture, I remembered the picture I took of Jordan on her birthday. It clearly shows their grumpy side! haha!!

Saturday, Sept 25th we had a Birthday Party for Johnson. It was at the lake and we had a John Deere theme. He loves tractors right now. Thanks to our family & friends for sharing the evening with us. Our baby boy will be 2 on the 30th!! WOW!

Another bump in the road

He was at work and fell about 4 feet backwards from a flatbed truck. He landed on both hands. He had surgery on the right hand and stayed one night at RMH. He has 4 pins and a rod to help move the wrist back into place. He is in a lot of pain and we continue to watch his fever and blood pressure. As you can see, his fingers are open, but he can not use them. It will be a long road, but we are keeping strong. This accident could have been much worse.

This year our Jordy bug is really into CHEERING! Rather than dance or tumbling like in the past with Star Studio, she wanted to do cheer at Star Studio that is new there this year.

She came home from school one day with a letter on cheer camp that the High School cheerleaders were putting together. We signed up her. Last night she performed during the football game and had a blast.

Eye scare and Birthday party plans

A few weeks ago while giving Johnson a bath I noticed that he had one pupil larger than the other. I really didn't think much of it. We had just been outside in the sun. We went about our night and that was that. After no change for a week or so I called our doctor. He suggested seeing an eye doctor so that's what we did. That doctor sent us over to St Louis. That right there scared me to death. Thank goodness everything is OK. Doctor in St Louis done several tests. He told us that he could find nothing and that Johnson was in the small population that would just have one pupil larger. That was music to our ears. Prior to the apt we had done some reading on the internet. That clearly was not a good idea!!
Our baby boy is about to turn 2. We are planning a John Deere party for him at the lake with family and friends. Can't wait!

Fall Festival & Little Toot

Yesterday was the Clay City Fall Festival, most of you know that my dad lives in Clay City. We loaded up and went over and enjoyed the parade and a good visit with family. My mom went with us too. Even though her and my dad have been divorced for a really long time (around 20 years) they get along really, really well. I'm so thankful for that.

She enjoys seeing my dads side of the family.

After the festival we took them over to the little toot in Flora. Johnson was so excited when he seen the train, not so excited

when it took off and heard the horn. :)

PS. I really need to get a new camera. My canon is just not cutting it anymore. So, I'm sorry that some of pics are not real clear.

A few weekends ago Jerry's cousin Jaclyn got married. We headed out of town for the beautiful ceremony. We all had a great time and the kids love staying in a hotel.

VACATION

We went to Florida to visit

Really is there only 26 more days until school starts? All I can say is WOW. Where did the summer go?!?! My Jordan is going to be in the 3rd grade. All I can say is WOW to that too! She is growing up way too fast.

If you read my blog, you know that we had planned on going to Florida back in May, but decided to move our trip to August because of the oil. We are leaving August 7th and we are so excited! Jayce did an awesome job standing on the beach with her bucket and shovel catching the oil as it hit their beach! haha! Actually their part did not get impacted like everyone thought. Great news!

When we went to Florida last year Johnson was only 8 months old. We can't wait to see how he reacts to the ocean. He loves water and loves being at the lake so we are thinking he'll be just fine!!!!!

85 and 65

On Saturday the Ginder's had good times at the cabin. We celebrated Grandma Tweet's 85th birthday. And, we also celebrated her & John's 65th wedding anniversary. It was a great day!

While waiting on the food to finish up, Jim took Grandma Tweet a ride on his Harley.

No more cast

Yesterday Jerry and I loaded up Johnson and headed to St Louis for a follow up on Johnson's leg. Jordan did not go. I have a hard time keeping that girl home anymore. She stayed the night with a good friend and went swimming. Jerry and I were hoping that by some miracle Johnson would be able to get the cast off while we were there. When they put the cast on 2 weeks ago our doctor said it would be 4 weeks. Keeping that in our minds we were not getting our hopes up! WELL, after they cut the cast off so they could take new xrays we noticed that Johnson was just a kicking his leg. We were liking this. (Have you ever seen them cut off a cast?...good gosh, not fun) Once the xrays were done we seen the doctor. She had the best news ever!! No more cast!! She said she was really impressed with the way he had healed and showed us everything in the xray that she was referring to. We were so happy. He even walked for the doctor. He does have a little limp. The doctor said he will have for a few more weeks. We go back in 3 weeks for one last follow up. I tell ya, 2 weeks in a cast was long enough for us!!!!!!

Today I had a doctor's appointment in Effingham.

When I'm driving I am not a speeder,never have been.

I'm always very careful about watching my speed. Well, today while singing my heart out to a Nickelback song - watching my speed was the last thing on my mind. I got pulled over in Newton on a side road by an unmarked police car. The office told me I was 7mph over the speed limit. I was very nice. The officer was very nice....BUT I DID GET A TICKET!!!!!

Tomorrow my baby girl is going on a mini vacation without Jerry or I. She was invited by a good friend and her family to go to Kentucky Lake until Sunday. This will be the first time she's been gone that long without family.

My dad came over today and gave Jordan a check

to go cash for spending money.

He rode her up to the bank on his Harley.

I know she will have a good time and she will be in great hands.

Broken Bone - not fun

Not going to go into every detail. It would take me way toooo long, so

here's a run down.

Thursday, June 10th Johnson got hurt while playing outside
Could tell right away something was wrong
Swelling was crazy. Looked like he had 3 knees on his left leg
Took him to the ER (thanks Emily)
*note* Jerry was out of town last week
ER took xrays. I was told he had a fracture, he would be fine and was sent home
After watching him all weekend, I had a gut feeling that something just wasn't right
I could tell he didn't feel good & was in pain
*note* Jerry made a quick trip home Friday night so he could see Johnson. Left again Sunday AM
He wouldn't crawl or stand up
I called our doctor (Dr Klingler) on Monday, he was able to see us
He took more xrays. Showed me the BROKEN BONE
Sent us to St Louis
Jerry upset he wasn't home to go with us - still out of town
My dad took us
Came home in a cast
Got a call from Dr Klingler tonight checking on Johnson
I thought that was just great!!!!
Johnson had a great night. He moved all around the house
Cast colors are green and blue
Green for tractors
Blue for water
It's waterproof!!!
Cast should come off in 4 weeks

Summer FUN

It seems like I have been slacking lately on getting pictures of Jordan. She is always on the go. Seems like she is never home. She loves to stay the night with the grandma's. And of course while Jayce was home, Jordan lived with her for almost a month. :)

On Thursday, she is going to Kentucky Lake with a good friend of hers and her family.

They will be gone for 4 days!!! Hope I can handle it.

Outdoor stuff

We have been in our home for a little over 3 months now and the outside is coming together. There are a few more things we would like to do. If we don't get them done this summer, next summer it will be. Jerry and I did some landscaping. We had a deck and shed built in the back. And the playset for the kiddos finally got put together. Everything inside is now out of boxes. I don't have a curtain one up yet. I'm a picky curtain person and I just have not found ones I am in love with yet.

We do have blinds up in all the rooms, well not our laundry room.

Florida

Like I had mentioned in my last post, we were to be in Florida the last of May and into June. Jayce and Nathan came home for a visit and we were all going to follow each other down. Sadly, while they were home Nathan's uncle passed away. He was able to get an extra week of leave. They headed back home on June 6th. Jayce and Nathan live in Navarre. Their town is very close to Destin and the Ft. Walton Beach area. The week we were to be there is the week the oil hit land. Jayce is going to take some pictures and send them to me. When I get them I will post them on here. This is a picture of the beach last year in June when we were there. So pretty.

French Lick

We were to leave for Florida on the 29th of May. After several days of debating due to the oil spill, we decided to move our trip to August. Did we do the right thing...not sure, but Jerry and I both agreed on it and it's done.

Any hoo, we spent a few days in French Lick. It was a good time. Johnson is not a car seat guy, so driving to French Lick and home got a bit rough at times.

I didn't do very well at getting lots of pictures. The weather was really nice. Not too hot and the rain stayed away. After spending the day in French Lick we stayed in Jasper, Indiana at a hotel and let the kids swim.

Our train ride had a "robbery theme to it".

Visit & Recital

My dad has been spending time in Indiana with his brother Danny. They rode their bikes to Olney in April to visit for a few days.

Jordan had a recital in May at the Olney City Park.

The girls did a great job and did lots of giggling.

Jordan's very very very good buddy Bayleigh moved away in April. Her daddy is in the military and his base is in North Carolina. The girls chat on the phone and it's so cute that they are keeping in touch. Also, her daddy is Uncle Nathan's brother. (Nathan is Aunt Jayce's hubby)

We miss you Bayleigh and can't wait to see you at Christmas!

The Ginder's had a great Easter day.

However, Johnson ran a fever for most of it. Poor guy. Hope he kicks this soon. He has a cough starting now.

We all got up around 8am. Jordan ran to the door to check the porch for Easter baskets. My mom came over around 9 to bring Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny left at her house. We then all got ready and headed to Jerry's mom and dads. We had some yummy food and had an egg hunt. Jerry took the kids for a jeep ride. Johnson fell asleep around 2. Jordan went to the lake with Jerry and Brenda. Jerry worked in the yard. I watched New Moon while Johnson was taking his nap.

(After this movie, I am on Team Jacob) hehe!

Once Jordan got home her and Jerry went running around.

Then this evening we had Jerry's grandparents over for pizza.

Today we had Easter at my moms. After eating, my mom and Aunt Georgia had an Egg Hunt for the kids. Later in the day Jerry and I took Jordan & Johnson out to the lake. Johnson ran right to the water. He'll keep us busy out there this summer. To finish the night off the kids colored some eggs!

We had a great day!

Sink & floor

A few weekends ago Jerry and his dad put in a new sink in our kitchen and a new faucet. I love the faucet. For some reason, the guy who remodeled the house, replaced everything but the kitchen sink.

Any hoo, it's done now and we really like it.

We also had a guy come in and lay this flooring for us by the front door. The room is all carpet and no matter what kind of rug I had at the door, it just wasn't cutting it. It seemed like I was always running the vacuum picking up all the dirt that came in on our shoes. This is working like a charm.

Egg hunt

On Monday, I had an Egg hunt at the house for the boys. Our yard was still a tad wet so I had it inside. Drake came and hung out with us so he was able to join in on the fun.

Jordan loves Easter.

I'm so glad she still believes in the Easter Bunny.

Tonight I went to tan. Jerry took the kids to Wal-Mart. When they got home Jordan ran inside and had this look of "excitement" on her face. She says to me "on the way home from Wal-Mart daddy told me that he heard on the news that the Easter Bunny is already in Newton and that he had to stop and get a drink out of a creek because he was thirsty!"

Today, our Jordan is 8 years old!!

Jerry and I can not believe how fast it's went. She is not a morning person at all. You can clearly see that in the picture. :)

Anyway, this morning when she woke up we had a gift and a balloon at her door. Jerry went to McDonald's and brought her home biscuits and gravy. She had a great morning after she got woke up, and a day full of fun to follow. This afternoon I am going to the school for a little party. Taking treats and drinks. Tonight we are having family over for cake and ice-cream. THEN on Saturday it's her birthday party with all her little buddies.

Damn Ear Infections

Again today, we found out that Jordan has yet another ear infection. This is her 3rd one since December. Started last night around 2:30AM. I was up with her until 5:30. Poor thing, they really just take all she has. She runs a fever, gets sick to her stomach and cries with the pain. The doctor today gave her some antibiotic and 2 different types of ear drops. He said if we have many more this year, we may have to talk about getting tubes. UHH!!! Pray that we don't. Hope she kicks this soon. Her 8th birthday party is coming up!!

Jordan has had a great school year (despite some drama in her class with another student). She loves to read, write and she rocks at spelling. One night last week after she got home from dance we had a surprise to show her how proud we are of her. She is really and I mean really into Webkinz's right now.
