Yesterday was Jerry's bday!
We were so lucky that he was in town to celebrate.
The kids and I had some balloons sent to his work along
with some soda and candy.
And, Mr Johnson had a little something for daddy too!
He started walking!!!!!! I was so glad that Jerry was home to see it!!
Jerry misses out on so much while he's gone. I just couldn't hold back the tears yesterday when Johnson was showing daddy how much of a big boy he is now. It was so freak'en cute!
He had been walking while holding onto a hand for a while.
Then for about the last 2 weeks or so he would take 2-3 steps and fall down.
I just can't believe he's walking. He is growing up way too fast.
Yesterday evening, his mom and sister came over. We had such a good time. Brenda (Jerry's mom) made a yummy cake. Jayce decorated it. We ordered taco pizza from Joe's (Jerry's favorite).
Tomorrow night we are all going to the Olde Tyme. It's our Ginder Family Birthday tradition to go there on someone's bday.
To touch on other things:
Jordan is no longer playing soccer
Jerry has been working some crazy hours and will be gone all next week
Jayce leaves soon - not sure how we will handle this
My parents are in California (still) a 2 week trip turned into a 3 week trip
I love being a stay at home mommy
Jordan stayed a weekend in E'ville with Jayce
Jordan is going to be a Snow Princess for Halloween
Not sure about Johnson yet
We hate this cold weather
