Beer Bottle

This evening we loaded up to take Jordan to dance. We noticed a man (maybe in his 50's) mowing our neighbors yard. The lady that lives next door to us is an elderly lady and she is the sweetest little lady. I'm not sure if this man was her son..maybe. Near her driveway we noticed a beer bottle. The man on the mower waved and we waved back. We left, dropped Jordan off for dance, picked up a newspaper and got gas in my jeep. As we pulled in our driveway...it took me about 1 second to get ticked off!!! The beer bottle that was just in our neighbors yard was now in ours!!! I noticed the man was in her backyard. I got out of the jeep (Jerry was getting Johnson out) and I walked right over to where he was standing and said "Excuse me sir, this is not our beer bottle. Since it's now in our yard I will toss it in the trash". He looked up at me with this rude face and tossed his hands up in the air and said " Well, it's not mine. I don't drink". I just walked off and came in the house. I vented to Jerry for about 20 minutes.
I knew that jerk had tossed that bottle in our yard.
A little while later Jerry and Johnson left to go get Jordan from dance. I'm doing some laundry and I hear our doorbell ring...it was the "man". I answered the door. He says to me "I have been thinking about you and the beer bottle. I just assumed it was yours and tossed it in your yard."
He then says "I lost my cool and I'm sorry."
I assured him the damn thing was not ours and even if it was why in the hell would we toss a beer bottle in a sweet little lady's front yard?!?! He went on for a few more minutes. He apologized...I accepted...he left.
Point I guess is...it really pisses me off when people "assume".
He assumed wrong!

Stuff

I know that I have had this background before, I just like it so much!!!
I am proud of myself...I have not had a cookie or should I say "COOKIES" from McDonald's in over a week. Those darn things are so good and I do want some really, really bad. I told myself I had to stop because they were all starting to stick to me..if you know what I mean!
Jerry has been gone for the last 2 weeks. He was able to come home last weekend so that was nice. He's so ready for the long weekend. Hopefully it all works out for us. We would like to take the kids either to St. Louis or Indy. His truck is in the shop getting fixed from the accident.
Jordan seems to be enjoying school. Last school year it was a battle to get her out of bed. I am so proud of her. I usually only have to tell her one time, give her a few minutes and then she's up. She's in dance again this year at Star Dance Studio. She really likes it. She has so many in her class that she knows. She also plays soccer. She usually has practice one or two nights a week. Games have not started yet. We had so much fun with soccer last year. I honestly can say "I love being a soccer mom." HAHA! I got so excited at the games last year, that Jerry slowly started to move away from me!! HAHA!
Johnson turned 11 months last week. He is so funny. He amazes me everyday. I hope to have his bday party at the lake. Hopefully it's not too cold by then. I think I have found someone to make a fish cake for him. I'm excited about that.
As for me, I think I have finally got my new routine down. Most days are good, some days are not so good. I really don't know how single moms do it. I really don't. I'm still watching a little boy everyday for about 3 1/2 hours and a little boy on Monday's all day and some Friday's. I really enjoy it. So does Johnson and Jordan. Their favorite thing to do is dance to Taylor Swift. I have some pictures I hope to post soon of all the boys dancing around. It's so cute!! AND, soon I will have a baby girl here.
I will keep her on Wednesday's and Thursday's.
I hope to get some pictures posted soon!
Hope everyone is doing well!! Have a good one!!

Jordan is off to school

On Wednesday, Jordan started 2nd grade! WOW...first I can't believe she's old enough to be in 2nd grade and second I can't believe the summer is over. We had a good week. She says she likes being back in school, however she does not like getting up early. Jerry was home all week. He worked out of town but was able to be home every night so that was good. I was so glad he was here for Jordan's 1st day of school. I was a bit bummed this week when Jordan only wanted me to take her to school and walk her in on the first day...she wanted daddy to take her on Thursday and Friday and she didn't want him to walk her in, she wanted to be dropped off in the circle drive at the school. We do this every year, but it's usually the second week of school...she's growing right up!!
I am still enjoying every minute of being a stay at home mommy...it's busy don't get me wrong. I have started to watch a little boy everyday during the week for about 3 1/2 hours each morning. I also watch a little boy every Monday and some Friday's for the entire day. It's fun and Johnson loves having others here to play with.

Kiddos had pictures taken Wednesday night..it was fun and I can't wait to see them. Johnson did fall asleep on us, but that's OK. We should have a few good pics of him awake.
Last but not least, Jerry was in an accident this week over his lunch hour. He and the other driver were both OK and no tickets were issued. (not sure how that happened). The pics below don't look too bad we didn't think...until we got the estimate back to send off to the insurance company...
a tad over $4,000 worth of damage!!
Jordan on her 1st day of school!

She loves her backpack...Jayce and I call it "one eye"
Jordan don't like that so much... hehe!

Jordan in her classroom!

So excited that daddy is taking her to school in the jeep!
(mommy inside secretly pouting, I wanted to take her) hehe!

Jordan painting the pig she received from Aunt Jayce.
Not sure why the picture is in this angle, too tired to fix it.

Jordan off to dance class!

Johnson can't stay away from these
curtains that hang in our spare room!

I love this picture!!
The older boys were "playing around" and got hot, so they took their shirts off!
About 5 minutes later Johnson was crying
a bit and I could not figure out why..then he started pulling at his shirt...
I got the hint.
I took his shirt off and he was all smiles..he wanted to be like them!!

Jerry's truck!

Tomorrow (Sunday) we are off to the lake to have lunch with all the Ginder's!
I'm gonna make some Tastefully Simple Beer Bread and dip and some mac & cheese for all the kiddos!
Jerry also leaves tomorrow for Kentucky, he'll be there all week!
Have a good one all!

Peas anyone? Johnson says he'll share!

Food fun!! Love it!!

Thanks Aunt Jayce!

Today, around 2:00pm Ivy's Cottage delivered this special "little gift" to Jordan. It was from Aunt Jayce wishing Jordan GOOD LUCK on her first day of school tomorrow.
Jordan was so excited!

Thanks Jayce...you really made Jordan's day! At dance tonight, she was telling everyone what her Aunt Jayce had delivered to her...it was so cute watching her get all excited while sharing it with all her little buddies!!

Pictures from my new job!

Well, I did it!! I survived my first week at my new job. Loved every minute of it. I will admit, a few stressful moments...but I had prepared myself for times like those. The week went really fast. Here are some pictures from the week.

Have a good week daddy!

He leaves bright and early tomorrow morning for Michigan.

He will be there all week!

What have we been up to?

Friday was my last day of work. I left Pacific-Cycle around 3:00. Way harder to leave that place than I ever thought.
Friday night, Jerry didn't get home until late, well around 8:15pm. He walked in and Jordan and I left. We went up town to watch Goonies. We had a blast.
Saturday evening we went to Carrie and Austin's house for a little "congrats" party. Had fun chatting it up with everyone.
Sunday we loaded up early and left for Holiday World. (I didn't take one single picture) Johnson stayed at the house with my parents. It was Jerry, myself, Jordan and Aunt Jayce. We didn't leave until they closed. It was a LONG day, but we had so much fun!!! Jordan has no fear!!!
Yesterday, Emily and I had a Tastefully Simple fundraiser at RMH. It was an AWESOME turn out.
Jerry was scheduled to be out of town this week, but that changed. He was able to take a vacation day yesterday and today. Yeah!!
Day two as a SAHM and I must say I LOVE IT!!
Have a good week all!!
