Other stuff....

  • We want to send hugs and kisses to Alivia!! We miss her. She was the little gal that came to our house a few days a week. Her mommy is now a stay at home mommy!!! I wanted to post a picture of her, but I can't find the camera card that has her on it....
  • I took a part-time job. Crazy I know, wasn't even looking. It's very part time and it feels good to get out of the house. :)
  • Ginder's are pretty sure they have found a house. Exciting! It took us over 20 houses to find one we were happy with. And, best of all..it's move in ready. Don't even have to clean the carpets or clean walls. Move in ready was important to us!!
  • Aunt Jayce and Uncle Nathan are home!!
  • Bummed that my brother and Mary Jane are not able to come home for Christmas!

Pictures

Before the croup, coughs and ear infections hit our house, we were busy with a school play and dance pictures.
Johnson walking around before Jordan's play started. He danced and danced the entire time. Cute..Cute!

Jordan in her classroom after the play.

I have been having some issues with my camera. This was about the only play picture that didn't come out all in a blur.

Oh Johnson.
He now likes to unzip his PJ's and sit in this basket.

Jordan before dance pictures.

We love the new outfits!

Holidays!

I'm stressing out a bit. This is the first year I am not 100% ready for Christmas. I have nothing wrapped... and have 2 more gifts to pick up.
Johnson is getting over croup. I must say that croup is a scary thing. Hope it never hits our house again.
Jordan has had a nasty cough, cold, runny nose and found out today she has an ear infection.
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Have you been naughty or nice this year?

Holiday Fun

Jordan for weeks had been asking if we could make a Gingerbread house. I found a kit at Wal-Mart for us to try. We had so much fun. Jordan was so proud of her little house. I love it when she gets all excited!!

It was very yummy!!!
And made the house smell really good!!!
Happy Holidays!!

Jordan and Johnson

I took these pics of the kiddos yesterday.
I thought they were just too cute not to share! :)

Boys and Harley

My dad was here one morning. The boys loved his Harley. These are the boys glued to the window after my dad started up his bike.

The eyes say it all....they are watching my dad take off!

Christmas Parade

Jordan was in the Olney Christmas Parade with Star Dance Studio. This is her and some of her dancing buddies before the parade started.

Christmas Tree is up....

Jordan had fun playing in the box while Jerry and Johnson put up the tree.

Johnson watching Jerry put up the tree. Making sure he was doing it right.
We decided not to put any decorations on our tree, since Johnson was taking them right back off. It was funny. So, we have a tree with white lights. No decorations or not, it looks good to us!

Thankful for...

...as I sit here and type and think about our busy day tomorrow...I can't stop thinking about those who don't have a place to go tomorrow to share a day with family...
I have so much to be thankful for. I could type out a zillion things, but my little guy is having trouble using the "bathroom" (get me?) so I don't know how much time I have on here....so I will share a few!
  • God
  • My life
  • Jerry
  • Jordan & Johnson
  • ALL MY FAMILY
  • My buddies
  • My baby blanket (those who know me really well will get this one)
  • pepsi
  • warm showers
  • lip gloss
  • google
  • a good bra
  • hand sanitizer
  • waffles
  • the roof over my head
  • that my kids don't go without food

K - Johnson is clearly getting my attention now...

Happy Thanksgiving all!!

House hunting.....

stresses me the hell out!!!
It's hard to house hunt when your hubby is only home 1 day a week.
Thankfully he was home every night this week, so we were able to look at a total of 5 houses this week. Just when we "think" we found the one, another comes up. We keep going back and forth. We are trying to be smart about this decision. The last one we looked at this evening really took my breath away. Not really the location we were looking for, but Jerry and I both fell in love with the inside. It's all new. 4 bedroom and 2 bath.
We have lots to be thinking about in the next 2 days.

Happy Anniversary

Tomorrow - Jerry and I celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary!
Jerry and I met at the skating rink. We were both 15. We were "boyfriend\girlfriend" up until I was 20. I could sit here and write so much about him and I. Funny how things work out. God has been good to us. Jerry and I got back together in 2001. I was 24 and he was 23. We had not talked in years. I was living in Indy at the time. I checked my email one morning before work and had an email from him. The email said something like "if you are coming home this weekend, we are having a cookout at the lake, come out."
I remember my stomach feeling like it had a million butterflies in it after reading that email. I drove home that weekend and went to the lake.....
and that's all she wrote!! :)

Ginder Goblins

What a great Halloween the Ginder's had!!
We love Halloween!!
Jordan was a snow princess and Johnson was a clown. Jordan had her wig off by house # 5 and Johnson would not leave his hat on. Jayce came over and helped get the kids ready. They both received lots of yummy candy. Around 7:30 Jordan went with my mom to Sandy's house for some yummy Halloween food. (Sandy is my moms best buddy) Johnson crashed early. Once Jordan got home, we watched Ghost Adventures on TV, ate popcorn and drank pepsi's.
We had such a good time!!!

Fall Fun

What fun we had this afternoon. This was the first Sunday in 3 weeks that Jerry has not had to leave. Sucks though, that he has to leave at 3AM tomorrow. We talked about taking the kids to a Pumpkin Patch, but decided against it. We didn't want to spend the day driving...since Jerry will be driving most of tomorrow. The kids had so much fun outside!!
I love days like today!!

Watch out Taylor Swift....

There's a new star on the rise!

SCARY.....

Grandma Brenda picked up these PJ's for Johnson...they are so cute!
Notice all the toys on the couch?
He needed them out of his way so he could vacuum.

Babysitting fun!

These pics were taking on Friday! We had such a great day!

Jordan & Jayce

Jerry's sister Jayce leaves for Florida next month.
Her hubby is in the Air Force and he has been deployed for the last several months. He will be home next month. His base is in Florida.
I'm not 100% sure Jordan understands this yet.
This picture was taken last month at
the Olde Tyme when we celebrated Jerry's dads birthday!
Jordan wanted to wear a dress because Aunt Jayce was wearing a dress.

Jordan

Can't get over those eyes and dimples!
(and Jordan just so you know..your daddy says there is no way you are dating when you are 16!)
Sorry this is so small...
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
My cousin's wife is taking pictures.
She does a great job!
Hit me up if you are interested!

B-I-G B-O-Y

Catch me if you can!!

Birthday and a walking we will go!

Yesterday was Jerry's bday!
We were so lucky that he was in town to celebrate.
The kids and I had some balloons sent to his work along
with some soda and candy.
And, Mr Johnson had a little something for daddy too!
He started walking!!!!!! I was so glad that Jerry was home to see it!!
Jerry misses out on so much while he's gone. I just couldn't hold back the tears yesterday when Johnson was showing daddy how much of a big boy he is now. It was so freak'en cute!
He had been walking while holding onto a hand for a while.
Then for about the last 2 weeks or so he would take 2-3 steps and fall down.
I just can't believe he's walking. He is growing up way too fast.
Yesterday evening, his mom and sister came over. We had such a good time. Brenda (Jerry's mom) made a yummy cake. Jayce decorated it. We ordered taco pizza from Joe's (Jerry's favorite).
Tomorrow night we are all going to the Olde Tyme. It's our Ginder Family Birthday tradition to go there on someone's bday.
To touch on other things:
  • Jordan is no longer playing soccer
  • Jerry has been working some crazy hours and will be gone all next week
  • Jayce leaves soon - not sure how we will handle this
  • My parents are in California (still) a 2 week trip turned into a 3 week trip
  • I love being a stay at home mommy
  • Jordan stayed a weekend in E'ville with Jayce
  • Jordan is going to be a Snow Princess for Halloween
  • Not sure about Johnson yet
  • We hate this cold weather

Soccer

Jordan no longer wants to play soccer.
She has been begging us.
I really would like for her to finish out the season. She knows no one on her team and I think that bothers her. Last year she knew everyone on her team and they had the best time. She has a game on Saturday morning. I'm really hoping she wants to go! However, I'm not going to force her to do something that she does not enjoy.
Thanks Aunt Jayce for the picture!
Jordan in action!!
Her team won this game!!

They say it's your Birthday

Today our "big guy" is celebrating his 1st Birthday!
He has been saying "mom" for about the last 2 weeks! ;)
Just for the record Jordan's first word was "dad".
I took these pictures yesterday afternoon!
