Prayer Request

I personally don't know this family, but have several friends that went to school with Robyn here in Olney. I am asking that we all take a moment today and pray for Robyn and Keith Nix. On Saturday they lost their little girl, Rowyn.

A friend of mine told me about their story two days after Rowyn was born. I have read about them everyday, praying that little Rowyn would stay strong and grow up with her parents that so deserve to have a family. They have a site on caringbridge.org (to read about their journey, go to that site and under visit a caringbridge website type in rowynnix) My heart is just breaking for them. I just can't even imagine what they are going through. I realize that God has a plan for everyone, however it is just really hard to understand why sometimes. This poor family has now lost 3 daughters.

Please pray that God continues to guide them and shower them with love and support during this difficult time that no parent should ever be faced with.

Happy Birthday Jordan!

Well, tomorrow my baby girl turns 7!! I just can't believe it. As I was uploading pictures, the tears were just rolling down my face.
After a long 9 months (morning sickness morning, noon and night) thank goodness I had an easy delivery....Jordan Mason Ginder was brought into the world.
  • Born on March 25th, 2002 at IU Medical Center in Indy
  • 7:35pm
  • 7 pounds 9 ounces
  • 20 1/2 inches long

I didn't get to upload any baby pictures. Ya know, back 7 years ago I didn't have a digital camera. So, after scanning some pics it was one problem after another. Some were too big, some too small. Just when I thought I had that fixed, I had issues uploading. After about 30 minutes I gave up. I work on computers all day, why would I wanna work on mine? :)

Happy Birthday Jordan!
Daddy & I love you more than you will ever know!
I can't wait to come to the school tomorrow for your Birthday Party!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Tomorrow, March 18th is my mom's Birthday!!

In May of 2005 she was diagnosed with colon cancer. That day honestly changed our entire family's lives. We see life in a totally new perspective. I hate to admit that it took this diagnosis to make us appreciate life all that much more. One day you are going about your own business thinking this could never happen to your family, then the next day you are hearing the word "cancer". After several months of chemo, radiation and two surgeries later, I'm so happy to say that she has been in remission for almost 4 years. God has been so good to us. She has her days however, but they just switched her stomach medicine and so far it seems to be helping with all the nausea.

Mom, you have been dealt "a different set of cards" but you always come out with a winning hand. Wish I had only half of your strength!! Wishing you the best Birthday ever mom!! LOVE YOU!!

BINGO anyone?

What a fun night. Some buddies and myself went and played some Longaberger BINGO.

Killing time! We got there 1 hour early. (had to get a good seat)

Madison. Stacey's daughter.

Faye...the only winner at our table. This is Brandi's mom.

Brandi, Tiffany, Blair and me

Stacey, Brandi and me

Stacey, Faye, Brandi and me

So bummed! We didn't win anything!

Got Green?

My kiddos didn't get pinched today!

Quote....

"A Mother's greatest masterpiece is her children"

How true is that quote? So..so..true!

Trampoline

Jerry and I have debated the "trampoline" buying for about 2 years. Shortly before Christmas Jordan started to ask for one and put it on her list to Santa. With that being said, Jerry and I decided it was time to pick one up. So, silly us....we fought the crowd at Wal-Mart on "Black Friday" to purchase one. Has anyone ever tried to put a trampoline into a cart? NOT FUN!!

While Jordan was hanging out with Aunt Jayce today, Jerry put it up for her. Boy was Jordan one happy camper when she got home!!

Aunt Jayce & Uncle Nathan are home!

Aunt Jayce and Uncle Nathan are home!! They got home on Thursday. Nathan is in the airforce and is getting ready for deployment to Qatar for 6 months. Qatar borders Saudi Arabia. He gets a 2 week leave prior to deployment, so they came home to visit family. Glad you guys are home! Nathan, sorry you are leaving come May. We will think and pray for you daily!!! Love you guys!!

And, Jayce thanks for the Birthday flowers. My kitchen smells wonderful!!
